Burgo Indonesia Emerging Designers at Plaza Indonesia Fashion Week 2025

Plaza Indonesia Fashion Week 2025 once again stood as one of Indonesia’s most anticipated fashion moments, a meeting point for designers, brands, innovators, and emerging talents who continue to redefine the landscape of contemporary Indonesian fashion. More than a runway showcase, PIFW is a space where ideas are tested, craftsmanship is elevated, and new voices are introduced to the industry. For Burgo Indonesia, this year’s participation carried a familiar yet meaningful purpose, continuing our annual tradition of presenting Burgo students’ Graduation Projects on the Plaza Indonesia Fashion Week runway.

Ti Voglio Bene: A Theme Rooted in Love and Intention

Every year, Burgo Indonesia attends Plaza Indonesia Fashion Week as a strategic and educational milestone. PIFW serves as the official platform where selected Burgo students present their Graduation Projects, transforming months of research, design development, and technical mastery into complete runway collections. For Burgo students, this moment represents more than a final showcase. It is the transition from academic training to industry exposure where their work is evaluated under professional standards and presented to a public audience of fashion insiders, media, and consumers. In 2025, Burgo Indonesia introduced its emerging designers under the theme “Ti Voglio Bene” an Italian expression that goes beyond “love” It speaks of care, sincerity, and emotional connection. Through this theme, Burgo emerging designers explored fashion not merely as form, but as feeling. Each collection became an expression of attention to craftmanship, and to the stories behind every garment.

Why Plaza Indonesia Fashion Week Matters for Fashion Students

Fashion education extends beyond technique. It requires understanding the ecosystem in which fashion exists. At PIFW 2025, students and emerging designers experienced firsthand what it means to build and present a collection, from ideation to execution. This exposure offers invaluable lessons:

Industry Standards in Real Time

Runway presentations reveal the benchmarks of quality, and consistency in design language.

The Power of Storytelling

Each collection carried a narrative. This aligns with the Burgo Method, where students are trained to develop conceptual clarity and translate ideas into cohesive design statements.

Meaningful Industry Connections

Stylists, editors, buyers, photographers, and fashion professionals filled the venue, turning PIFW into a vital networking space for emerging talents.

Behind-the-Scenes Reality

From fittings to final adjustments, students witnessed the intensity and discipline behind a runway show a crucial understanding of how the fashion industry truly operates.

Looking Forward: A Future Built with Purpose

Plaza Indonesia Fashion Week 2025 reaffirmed that Indonesia’s fashion ecosystem is bold, ambitious, and increasingly sophisticated. The creativity presented on the runway reflects the same values Burgo nurtures within its academy: discipline, originality, emotional depth, and respect for craft. As new designers continue to step forward, Burgo Indonesia remains committed to guiding them from the first sketch, to the first collection, to the moment their work meets the runway.

This is where fashion begins.
This is where futures are built.
